Folklore is much more than tradition: it is collective memory, knowledge transmitted from generation to generation, and the essence of our identity as a people. It is for this reason that we seek to preserve and teach our cultural manifestations, so that new generations can know, value and continue the legacy that makes us unique. Folklore is education, culture and life. Happy World Folklore Day!
