Who we are

GoDajabón (godajabon.com) is an adventure-travel and investment guide to Dajabón Province, Dominican Republic, with classifieds, a job board and business pages. By creating an account or using the site you accept these terms.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give truthful information.
• You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account. We recommend turning on two-step verification.
• You can download your data or delete your account at any time from My account → Security.

Listings and content you publish

• Only publish what is yours or what you are entitled to offer, with real prices, photos and descriptions.
• Not allowed: illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, protected animals, sexual content, scams, pyramid schemes, fake job offers or offers that charge the applicant, or other people's data without their consent.
• We may review, pause or remove any listing or page that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that do so repeatedly.
• You keep the rights to your photos and texts; you allow us to show them on the site, on its social networks and when they are shared, while they are published.

Dealing with other users

GoDajabón puts people and businesses in touch, but is not a party to the sales, rentals, bookings or hiring they agree on. Check what you buy or rent, do not send money in advance to strangers and meet in public places. You can report any suspicious listing with the "Report" button.

Jobs

Employers may only use the résumés they receive for the hiring process of that job offer. Applicants decide what to share and can withdraw their application.

Partner plans and payments

• Prices are in Dominican pesos (RD$). With PayPal you are charged the equivalent in US dollars at the day's rate, shown before you pay.
• Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and do not renew automatically: we remind you before they end.
• If a plan ends and is not renewed within the grace days, your extra listings are paused until you pay. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• If a payment was charged by mistake or the service could not be provided, write to us and we will resolve it under Law 358-05 on consumer protection.

Travel information

We do our best to keep information on destinations, events, opening hours and prices accurate, but it can change. Check with the place before you travel. Adventure activities carry risks: follow the instructions of guides and authorities.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses caused by listings or agreements between users, or for service interruptions beyond our control.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date of the latest version is shown below and we will notify you of important changes. They are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
